Yarrah Pet Food Review: Part 1

Before doing this review, the products were tried for several months by a lot of my dogs not just one. This post will be loaded with pictures.

So what is Yarrah? Here is something from their website:

About Yarrah

Yarrah is a Dutch Company, founded in 1992. Back then, organic pet food was not produced yet, so Yarrah was the first company to start producing organic dog –and later on- cat food.

History
Since 1992, Yarrah has grown to become the market leader in Europe in the organic dog and cat food sector. As one of the few players in this industry, we offer a broad assortment of both wet and dry organic food products for dogs and cats.

Quality assurance
To be sure all the ingredients are 100% organic, Yarrah buys all the ingredients themselves. To give this 100% guarantee the Quality manager of Yarrah visits the producers personally; the larger ones at least once a year, the smaller once at least every other year.

Yarrah Dog and Cat food in Aluminum

I think with all the hype with dog brands like Blue Buffalo, Royal Canin, Orijen, Acana, Canidae. I would rate Yarrah better than all of them. I have never seen my pet  feed with such excitement and delight.

I'm proud to announce that Yarrah is made with human grade ingredients. I'm sure a lot of companies put this on their label but this is the first time that I can truly say that a company proves what they announce.

Just take a look at their dog food: aluminum. I took a close up photo so that you would be really able to see the quality.

Here's another one. This is the first time I have encountered a dog food made with real and the finest ingredients that is truly irressitible! It also has a lovely smell, not like the other wet foods produced by other brands.

For kitty owners, they also have a product range just for you!

Overall, I would rate Yarrah food in aluminum foil 10/10. I would give it 11 if it was even possible.

Let me tell you the pros and cons:

Pros:
Tasty, irresistible, even to the pickiest eaters
Has a tasty scent that I do love to smell (is that weird?)
Nutritious
Real chunks
Certified organic!

Cons:
NONE!

Moving on...

Yarrah Dog and Cat food in Cans

This one is just as amazing as well. This is probably very much the same with the aluminum foil range.

Let me tell you a story of why I love and revere Yarrah so much. It change my whole view of readily made available dog food.

Two of my dogs were really sick and are unable to eat because of distemper. They would not eat anything that I offer. Luckily, I still have one can of Yarrah, the very same product pictured above. It was a holy grail. A lifesaver. When I place it in their bowl, they willed themselves to stand up and eat it. I couldn't believe it at first. I could not coax them to eat hotdog and other treats just so that they would have a little nutrition but there they are eating Yarrah. I was not able to take a picture of the actual product inside but what Yarrah did to my dogs is just revolutionary. It brought back their appetite and they were able to slowly recover. 90% of dogs die from distemper but both of them survive that horrible ordeal. I would always be thankful to Yarrah. It could have been faith why I was not able to open that can and I just had it on reserve by my shelf.

Every dog is different though, what works for both of my dogs might not work for you if they are sick with distemper. Bring them to the vet immediately.

You guess it right, rating is 10/10!

Pros:
Brought back the appetite of my dogs
Really tasty for them
Amazing aroma as expected

Cons:
NONE!!!

If you visit Yarrah's website, they offer a complete list of ingredients including product composition. They have products for both cats and dogs. Now isn't that just lovely.
